How to download

Downloading the Guardian Duress Alert App (iPhone and Android Phones)

To be able to access Guardian Duress Alert App, you firstly need to go to the iTunes App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play (for Android phones) and download the app.

This is quite easy to do and only takes a few seconds. Now the app gives you the ability to be able to set up a safety-net using up to 5 of your family, friends and colleagues.

Once you have downloaded Guardian from the App Store or Google Play, go to the Settings bar and you will find a heading that says - Alert from You - this part of the app allows you to build your safety-net.

Enter the phone number of the person you want to be part of your safety-net and the person will receive a message asking if you want them to become part of your safety-net, do you Accept or decline?

If they press the Accept button they are immediately connected to your phone.

You can repeat this process another 4 times until you have your safety-net complete.

Now you can set up your Alerts to You - this is also in the settings part of the app.

This allows you to receive alerts from other Guardian users that want you to be part of their safety-nets. All you need to do when you receive one of these notifications is to merely push the Accept button if you want to be part of their net or push Decline if you don't.

Guardian retails at AU $2.49 and once installed can be used over and over again at no further cost. Because Guardian works by Push Notification, there is no cost to send an alert.
